October 28, 2024: SU7 Ultra Prototype - 6:46.874
David Pittard drove the dedicated SU7 Ultra Prototype to a 6:46.874 official time. The Nurburgring lists the vehicle in its prototype and pre-series category.
The run established Xiaomi's first major Nordschleife benchmark, but it was never the lap time of a normal production SU7 Ultra.
April 1, 2025: Prototype - 6:22.091; production car - 7:04.957
The prototype returned with David Pittard and improved to 6:22.091. On the same date, Vincent Radermecker set 7:04.957 in a production SU7 Ultra with Track Package.
The production result set the electric executive-car category record at the time. Later record attempts by other manufacturers changed the current category order, so it is more accurate to describe 7:04.957 as Xiaomi's official production result and a former category record.
April 2, 2026: YU7 GT with Track Package - 7:22.755
Vincent Radermecker completed an official 7:22.755 lap in the YU7 GT with Track Package. The Nurburgring lists it as the first and only entry in its electric SUV, off-road vehicle, van, and pickup category at the time of publication.
It is an SUV-category achievement and should not be directly ranked against the lower SU7 Ultra sedan or the dedicated prototype without explaining the category difference.
June 8, 2026: YU7 GT autonomous lap - 10:29.483
A YU7 GT with Track Package completed the full Nordschleife without a driver in 10:29.483. The circuit described it as the first officially timed fully autonomous lap in its history and added an Autonomous Driving category.
The autonomous lap demonstrates vehicle-control technology under complex circuit conditions. It is not intended to be compared as a driver performance lap.

The circuit states that official record runs use a complete 20.8 km flying-start lap, calibrated timing, notarial supervision, and a vehicle inspection documented by TUV Rheinland. Those common rules make official times more comparable than manufacturer videos measured over different distances.
